A long time ago on midsummers day, Spanish traders mostly from the " FUENTARABIA " region came and sold their horses on the present day "Place de Verdun". A coach house was built nearby to house the traders and from this the Hotel Fontarabie was born, a living witness to the numerous business transactions of yesteryear.
